The new extension module is perfect for unique rigging situations.
The Sony Venice offers a 6K Full Frame sensor with dual 500 and 2500 ISO modes, built-in full spectrum ND filters, and the optional extension module that allows the mounting of the camera's sensor block in cramped environments. Coupled with Sony’s R7 Raw Recorder the Sony Venice is capable of shooting the new X-OCN raw video format in addition to onboard XAVC and ProRes recording.

Sony Venice Rialto Extension System
The Sony Rialto Extension System allows the Sony Venice camera body to be separated and extended away from the 6K Sensor block. This allows the lens and sensor to be placed in tight spaces, or handheld more easily for complex action scenes. The Rialto features a nine foot cable as well as an available nine foot extension cable. This allows the Rialto to be placed up to 18 feet away from the Sony Venice camera body. All of the Venice's functionality is maintained while in Rialto mode.
