Sony ILME-FR7 PTZ Camera

The Sony FR7 PTZ is a live production oriented robotic camera that allows an operator to remotely control the body and attached lenses if supported. This allows remote pan, tilt, zoom, focus, and iris control as well as remote camera settings control using panels such as the Sony RM-IP500 PT Controller. It features a 4K full frame CMOS sensor that boasts 15+ stops of dynamic range and a top frame rate of 120FPS. It features an E-Mount that is compatible with a variety of lenses built with this kind of production in mind.

The standard lens for use with the FR7 E-Mount is a FE PZ 28-135mm f/4 G OSS full frame telephoto power zoom lens. The 28-135mm features Optical SteadyShot for in lens stabilization, and works directly with the FR7 to allow electronic iris control, zoom control, and focus control. It is an optically impressive lens, with even flat full frame illumination and excellent overall image quality. The perfect pairing for the FR7.
