Keslow Camera Accelerates Growth with Opening of New Offices in Salt Lake City and New Orleans
New office expansions enable Keslow Camera to accelerate growth in motion picture, television and commercial support.
CULVER CITY, CA, May 22, 2018 – Keslow Camera, the largest privately held motion picture camera equipment rental house in North America, recently opened new offices in Salt Lake City, Utah and New Orleans, Louisiana to accommodate rapid growth and leverage the industry’s geographical shift. With offices in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Vancouver, Santa Fe, Chicago and Toronto, these additions will mark number seven and eight for the rental house.
Keslow Camera is known for its high-caliber quality control standards and meticulously maintained equipment. In addition to the corporate headquarters in Culver City, the two new offices support the company’s overall growth strategy and market share. Keslow Camera’s recent acquisition of Clairmont Camera in 2017 has accelerated the company’s growth and diversified its equipment catalog.
Keslow Camera has already supported a number of productions over the years in Utah, such as HBO’s “Mosaic”, Disney’s “Andi Mack”, and now Paramount Network’s upcoming series, “Yellowstone”. The recent growth in Utah is significant: In 2016 the state issued 356 film permits, that grew to 602 in 2017. Hollywood filmmakers continue to return to Utah for their professional crews and jaw-dropping scenery. Utah offers a varied palette for filmmakers with its craggy deserts to the south, green mountains to the north and urban locations that can stand in for cities around the world.
Furthermore, Louisiana has recently earned a new reputation as “Hollywood South.” Following a plunge in film production in Louisiana in recent years, the industry is experiencing a rebound. It’s unique neighborhoods and architectural beauty make the great state of Louisiana a perfect home for some of the projects that Keslow Camera supports, such as SyFy & USA Network’s forthcoming series, “The Purge”.
“With the vast amount of content being produced throughout North America, the decision to expand to Salt Lake City and New Orleans in an effort to greater support our filmmakers made perfect sense,” said Dennis McDonald, Keslow Camera’s Chief Operating Officer. “We strive to deliver the absolute best experience for our customers, and that means having a presence in the locations they’re shooting in wherever possible.”
