We currently have the following postion open: CAMERA TECHNICIAN
CAMERA TECHNICIAN
We are looking for an experienced Camera Technician with at least five years experience in all Arriflex and Moviecam Camera Systems, including: Arricam ST, LT, 235, 435, 535, and 416.
Must also have knowledge of how to convert 3-perf or 4-perf movements on above mentioned cameras. Familiarity with HD Camera Systems and work flow, including Red One is a plus.
Other responsibilities to include:
• Service all cameras, magazines, extension finders, eyepieces, etc., upon return
from rental. Servicing includes cleaning exterior of equipment. Cleaning all
optics of camera systems, interior and exterior. Any necessary lubrication of
cameras and magazines and finally checking and adjusting equipment to correct
Arriflex specifications.
• Repair all damages to equipment, cameras, cables, gear heads, matte boxes,
follow focus units, video power cables, etc.
• Manufacture all necessary cables for camera equipment. Video power cables,
camera power cables, RCU power cables, ICU power cables, etc.
• If necessary, service and clean lenses, filters, cases and any miscellaneous
equipment.
• Must be available to visit sets, if needed and be on call 24 hours a day/7 days a
week for troubleshooting service.
